Science Proves Drinking Vodka & Red Bull Increases Likelihood Of Fighting

What Else Would You Expect?

August 19, 2018

Some researchers recently tested a bunch of fish to see what happened when they gave them taurine (found in energy drinks) mixed with alcohol. Not sure testing fish to see how humans react in a bar really makes sense to me, but then again not sure this study really needed to be done to come to these conclusions.

The conclusions we speak of are that drinking Red Bull with vodka increases the “risk of fighting, violence, and participation in risky behaviors.” Basically these fish didn't approach each other much... which supposedly correlates to humans being less likely to approach someone in a romantic way, and the fish did spend more time in the territory of a perceived predator... which, you guessed it, correlates to humans looking for confrontations.

Soooo if you go into an evening deciding it's a good idea to consume large amounts of vodka and Red Bull, you probably already know what you're asking for. (Insert my personal vodka Red Bull story from that one NYE when I somehow ended up in VIP at Webster Hall and... that's all I remember... here)
