The Meadows Festival Update

We'll keep our fingers crossed for 2019

August 10, 2018

As 2018's installments of Governor's Ball and Panorama have come and gone, many NYC festival goers have been wondering what's going on with The Meadows. Well, wonder no more... it's not coming back. At least not this year.

Founders Entertainment, the team behind The Meadows, shared today that they were hoping to move the location from Citi Field to Flushing Meadows Corona Park for 2018, but after not being able to get a permit they are now setting their sights on doing this for 2019.

The Meadows was a great way to send off festival season these past two years, and it really had a strong line up both years as well. After seeing sets by Red Hot Chili Peppers, Gorillaz, Foster The People, The 1975, Weezer, Empire Of The Sun, and many many more (including the notorious Kanye stopping mid-set bc Kim had that whole robbery situation in Paris) in 2016 and 2017, let's hope Founders uses this extra time to get their permits in order and deliver the festival we deserve in 2019!
