Dave Grohl & Krist Novoselic Reunite On Stage

September 3, 2018

Dave Grohl always seems to have something up his sleeve. At the Foo Fighters Safeco Field show in Seattle Saturday night, former Nirvana bassist Krist Novoselic's new band Giants In The Trees opened for For Fighters. For a lot of fans, it was probably already pretty cool to see both Grohl and Novoselic in the same night. Untilllll...

In true Dave Grohl fashion, he brought Novoselic back onto the stage and announced, "This is an old song, we haven't done this song together in a long time." They then played "Molly's Lips" which was originally written by Scottish band the Vaselines, and then covered by Nirvana and released on Incesticide in 1992.

After the show Foo Fighters tweeted that they'd be down to do it again at the Grohl-curated music festival Cal Jam 2018 next month... helloooo guys... don't forget about New York... please.
