Red Hot Chili Peppers Cover Radiohead LIVE at The Pyramids

Last night, The Red Hot Chili Peppers joined an elite group of artists who have had the privledge to play a live concert at The Great Pyramids in Giza, Egypt. During the nearly two-hour performance, they played all the favs from their 20-year career (“Californication”, “Under the Bridge”, “By the Way”) plus a bunch of material from their last album, "The Getaway".

In an act of punny perfection, guitarist Josh Klinghoffer kicked off the encore with a pretty stunning solo piano cover of Radiohead's "The Pyramid Song." (Get it? The Pyramid Song Live at The Pyramids? See what they did there?) Not to be outdone, the cover is immediately followed by an epic re-entry by Flea, doing a walking handstand all the way across the stage.
