Always read this one to have a bit of a winter vibe, but the more I think about it - it’s a story that could really happen any time during the year.

I don’t know if it’s true or not but I always heard it was about this busker who would play across the street from Jacob Dylan’s place in New York. Every day Jacob would see him out there, basically doing the same thing he was (“Same black line drawn on you that was drawn on me”) - playing music…doing what he loved. Then one day, the guy disappeared. Wasn’t there anymore. May sound funny to mourn the loss of a person you never even met, but we can probably all relate to the disappearance of a constant in our lives and how that lands. No matter how inconsequential.
