As of late, the Red Hot Chili Peppers and its members have been in the news, either teasing a new album, Chad Smith (drummer) celebrating his birthday and just last week Flea finally married the love of his life, Melody Ehsani!

ALSO, Flea will be releasing a new memoir, Acid for the Children, which is officially out November 5th........

It really is hard to believe it's been so long since The Pepper released their debut album, The Red Hot Chili Peppers in August 1984.  Since that debut in '84, they have released eleven studio albums, three live albums, 12 compilation albums, eight video albums, five extended plays, 44 singles, and 47 music videos. To date, the band has sold over 80 million albums worldwide.

If you are thinking what I'm thinking, then you are wondering when a DOCUMENTARY FILM will be released.  There may be an answer to that and one could actually be in the works, AS WE SPEAK!!!

Here is the proof -- Photographer David Mushegain posted a photo on Instagram featuring all four members of the band, writing, "such a rad day previewing our new @chilipeppers documentary." ............... (see below)

It's not exactly clear what kind of documentary this might be -- a concert film, a look at the making of a new album they have been teasing, or something else. There will likely be a concert portion to the film, since David Mushegain thanked Chad Smith for letting him sit on stage during his performances!

Either way, fans across the world, INCLUDING ME, are very excited for a documentary film of ANY kind from these rock legends!!
