Want to own a piece of grunge history? It's possible, as long as you have lots and lots of dough. More specifically, the green cardigan the late, Kurt Cobain wore on the band's MTV Unplugged episode is up for auction.

THIS ONE......

The bidding starts at $50,000 and, as of Wednesday afternoon, there was already one bid on the sweater.   The auction is part of a two-day rock memorabilia event (October 25th and 26th) in New York City with Julien's Auctions.  They are estimating that the cardigan will go for between $200,000-$300,000 (WTH...who has that kinda money?!?) and the auction also features a 1993 Fender guitar Cobain used on the In Utero tour.

OHHHHHH....before you ask....They are saying that the cardigan....HAS NEVER BEEN WASHED!!!!

If a dirty green cardigan doesn't do it for you, the auction also includes items from other amazing artists including Bob Dylan, Janis Joplin, Eric Clapton, Bruce Springsteen, The Grateful Dead, Chris Cornell, Eddie Vedder, The Who, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, The Beatles and MORE.
