This Sunday, there will be a whole bunch of really expensive and painstakingly produced commercials surrounded by a football game. Oh, and snacks. Lots of snacks. Since so many eyes are on the Super Bowl, it's become a great place for movie studios to debut high-profile trailers: the first blockbuster to really take advantage was Independence Day back in 1996. So which ones are we going to get this year?

Turns out... not as many as in years past. It has gotten ridiculously expensive to run a Super Bowl commercial - $5.6 million for just 30 seconds, and that's dampened Hollywood's enthusiasm for showing an entire trailer. So it sounds like you should keep an eye out during the pregame on Sunday night if you want to catch a glimpse of some of this year's big movies.

If you love the Fast & Furious films, there will be an F9 commercial - but not a full trailer, which is actually supposed to debut tomorrow. Hide your kids for A Quiet Place II, then bring them back out for Sonic the Hedgehog and The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge on the Run. Just rumors at this point about what to expect from Disney and Marvel: we might get a preview of the live-action Mulan and/or Black Widow, but it's TBD.  And there's ALSO wild speculation about a sneak peek at the new Top Gun movie, but that's only based on Tom Cruise's long history of showing up on your TV during the Super Bowl.

Here's some more rumors and gossip about the Super trailers you can expect this Sunday. Go team!
