It's been a year full of celebration for The Cure, between induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, the 40th anniversary of the band's debut album, and a handful of special shows commemorating 30 years of the classic Disintegration. At one point earlier this year, it sounded like Robert Smith had hopes of performing Disintegration in full in New York this month. He told Rolling Stone that venues were being held both here and in Los Angeles and reminisced about playing the Beacon Theatre back in the band's early punk days. Alas, here we are with three weeks left in the year and no tour dates. Yet.

What we do have is three glorious performances from the final Disintegration show The Cure did in Sydney earlier this year and the hope that the entire concert isn't far behind. Here are "Pictures of You", "Plainsong" and the title track for your listening/viewing/cathartic crying pleasure.
