Thousands of People Are Petitioning the Wrong Platform About Canceling a Show

First of all, Neil Gaiman is an incredible human. He's thoughtful, talented, and one half of an artistic power couple (who were last year's King and Queen of the Coney Island Mermaid Parade). Neil also co-authored the delightful book Good Omens with the late Terry Pratchett: the book has just been made into a Amazon Prime Video TV miniseries.

Aaand that miniseries is now the subject of an internet petition calling it "blasphemous" and asking Netflix to cancel it. Observant readers will notice that Netflix did not make Good Omens. 20,000 people have not noticed. That's gotta be rule #1 of creating a petition: knowing the correct place to address your demands. Also, it's a MINISERIES, so canceling it wouldn't really do anything. All in all, not a great effort. Anyway, I'm not going to link to the petition, but I will share some amusing tweets that Neil himself RTed about the situation:
