It's a good news/bad news kind of week for fans of The 1975. The positive stuff first: we're just a few days away from another new song! Matty Healy has been talking about "Me and You Together Song" since last fall, calling it "sad of course... but really lovely". Now we know we'll be getting the track this Thursday.

We will be playing ‘Me & You Together Song’ - Live on @bbcradio1 with @anniemacdj on Thursday 16th January from 7pm. Vibey ----

Vibey. Can't wait. This sort of softens the blow that the new 1975 album, Notes on a Conditional Form, has been pushed back from next month to April 24th. Sigh. At least Matty says they'll put out one new song per month until then, AND that the album will include a whopping 21 tracks. You can read more about it here.

And I suppose this could turn out to be good news if there's a NYC date... haven't had one of those in a while! (Gov Ball doesn't count.)

As always, ALT 92.3's resident 1975 fangirl (me) will keep you informed.
