Resolutions fail. It happens. I read somewhere that most people give up by January 12th. So if you don't want to be a statistic in 2019, here are some concrete and scientific ways to help you keep those resolutions.

For a lot of us, the biggest problem is that we're too vague. Be healthy! Lose weight! BUT HOW? We need to set specific goals - and make sure that they're not TOO challenging or out of character (deciding to run a marathon when you actually hate running is not impossible... but not realistic either). It also helps to break your goal up into measurable, achievable chunks and come up with a reward system for yourself along the way. This helps your brain stay engaged and energized to see your resolution through.
