As long as the weather is still nice, you can do something nice for yourself and your health too. Good ol' walking can lengthen your life span, ward off disease, and help with anxiety and depression. And you don't have to be sneaking out for a 2 hour excursion to do it either - walking just 22 minutes a day, even in 5 minute bursts, is enough to reap the benefits.

Another great thing about walking is that it's FREE. No gym membership or equipment required. And whether you're walking in the city, a park or around the block in your neighborhood, it all counts equally towards your goal.
