The 2020 inductees into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame were announced earlier this week, and Nine Inch Nails was among them! Trent Reznor, who had been a curmudgeon about the Hall for a long time, described himself as "freaked out," "in shock," and "pleasantly surprised" about the honor in a Rolling Stone interview. He also revealed that he and his wife Mariqueen just had their fifth (!) child this past weekend! So a pretty solid week all around.

I've been a NIN fan for a long time, and I've loved watching Trent branch out into other projects over the years - most recently his amazing work with Atticus Ross on Watchmen. There are sooo many tracks to choose from for FBF. I could make an entire playlist. The world of Watchmen and the immersive online material HBO created to accompany it reminded me of what Trent and Atticus did with the album Year Zero (amazing, brilliant, dystopian), so today I opted for "Survivalism." Congrats, Trent and company!
