Lots of great albums from ALT artists came out in 1994, from Nirvana Unplugged, to NIN's The Downward Spiral, to Dookie from Green Day - and a whole bunch more. It feels cliche to say that it doesn't feel like that was 25 years ago... but seriously, where has the time gone?

Anyway. 311's second studio album, Grassroots, came out that magical year. The band didn't really break through until 1996, when radio and MTV fell in love with "Down". But many of us went back to discover both that and 311's first album, Music.  Since today is 8/16, this sweet and mellow Grassroots track seems like a fitting FBF choice.
