We lost Chester Bennington one year ago today. His band mates in Linkin Park posted a beautiful tribute on Instagram this morning.

To our brother Chester, It has been a year since your passing—a surreal rotation of grief, heartbreak, refusal, and recognition.  And yet it sill feels like you are close by, surrounding us with your memory and your light.  Your one-of-a-kind spirit has authored an indelible imprint on our hearts—our jokes, our joy, and our tenderness. Eternally grateful for the love, life, and creative passion you shared with us and the world.  We miss you more than words can express. There are a lot of memorials going on all over the world to celebrate Chester's life: Here's a link with info about one in New York.

This is the song I listen to when I want to remember Chester. His voice is so beautiful and raw, and the message is incredibly important, ESPECIALLY today: Even when you feel most alone, you are loved, and you matter.

If you or someone you know is struggling with their emotions, the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at 1-800-273-8255.
