It's a glorious day for fans of The 1975. After 5 straight days of social media teasing, the band just released a second song from the forthcoming Notes on a Conditional Form: "Frail State of Mind".

As ALT's resident superfan, I think this song sounds like a sadder, dreamier version of “TOOTIMETOOTIMETOOTIME” from last year's A Brief Inquiry Into Online Relationships. The two albums ARE companions to each other after all, part of what the band has referred to as the "Music for Cars" era. It's scheduled for release on February 21st of next year.

We ALSO got a new glimpse into Matty Healy's mind today, thanks to this Noisey interview. He's started doing jiu jitsu! He got really excited to meet a former member of the band Thursday! And he had lots of thoughtful things to say about gender identity and equality. Love. What do you think of the new 1975 track? Let me know on Twitter.
