WOULD YOU RENT A STRANGERS' POOL FOR A DAY?

Chlorine kills everything, right?

After thinking about it, I like this idea.  First thought was, "gross," but is it really?  Probably not.  Not like a hotel bedspread, anyway.  DON'T USE THOSE!  But I digress.

This company called Swimply is like Air BnB but for pools.  Property owners rent out their empty pools by the hour to people who need to cool off.  Or swim.  Never had to swim that bad, but whatever. Hourly rates are higher than what a day pass at your local public pool might cost you and most places have a one-hour minimum, but pretty much all options are available.  Book in Brooklyn right now for $75 an hour!  $125 for a dip in a "secret pool" in the city.  $50 in Queens.

You get the idea.

And seriously, throw that bedspread on the floor.

Use tongs.
