Seventeen years is a looooong time.

Championship Sunday was amazing, wasn't it?  From karma finally catching up to the Saints, (2009's Bounty Gate anyone?) to the Patriots and Cheifs repeatedly trading fourth quarter blows in Kansas City, it was the most watched football weekend in years.  And man, right when you think he couldn't possibly add to his legend, Tom Brady goes and does it in spectacular fashion.  And I know you hate Brady.  I get it.  But you gotta appreciate what he's done.  You just do.  You can't call yourself a fan of the game if you don't.

That's not my point, though.  My point is, Tom is old.

His first trip to the Super Bowl was SEVENTEEN years ago, in 2002.  Here's a bunch of things that weren't things yet.

MySpace.  This one blows the mind,  because it's already been GONE for so long, to think it wasn't even born yet is amazing.

Google Maps. We were still printing that shit out.  Or using foldin' maps?  I don't actually remember.

Bluetooth speakers.  Wires.  Ugh.

Doorbell cams.  Wonder how many bell lickers we've missed out on?

Social media, Xbox, hashtags, Fitbit, GoPro, smart phones, and roomba.  Well, Roomba actually came out the same year.

Big Bang Theory.

It only feels like it.
