Sony Jumps On the 'Mini' Bandwagon with Their PlayStation Classic

And yes, Final Fantasy VII IS included. Score.

There's big money in nostalgia. Nintendo learned that when they released the mini versions of their classic NES and Super Nintendo systems. They even came with pre-loaded games, so you didn't have to blow into the cartridge when it wouldn't work. (Which, by the way, isn't why it worked when you put it back in. It's because you were doing it wrong the first time.)

Sega followed that up with a classic release of their own, and now PlayStation is jumping on board with the mini PlayStation Classic.

The controllers are exactly how you remember them, (Cheetos dust not included) and it will come pre-loaded with 20 classic PS games, like Tekken 3 and Wild Arms. And yes, Final Fantasy VII IS included. Score.

It'll be out in time for the holidays, as it hits stores December 3rd.  It's only gonna be about a hundred bucks, and you can pre-order one now, which is probably a good idea if you want to avoid the possibility of losing a limb at some midnight big box sale.
