I do not agree with #1.

We love our lists, don't we?  Arguing about 'em.  Buzzfeed made an entire career out of ranking stuff.  So here's Rolling Stone's list of the 40 Greatest Emo Albums Of All Time.

If you don't feel like clicking, I'll tell you they put Sunny Day Real Estate's 1994 album "Diary" at number one.  Eh, no.  Great album, but... That was followed by Rites of Spring's 1985 self-titled album.  Never heard of that one.

Rest of the top ten were:

3. The Promise Ring / "Nothing Feels Good" (1997)

4. Jawbreaker / "Dear You" (1995)

5. Braid / "Frame and Canvas (1998)

6. American Football / "American Football" (1999)

7. Cap’n Jazz / "Burritos, Inspiration Point, Fork Balloon Sports …" (1995)

8. Jimmy Eat World / "Bleed American" (2001)

9. Fall Out Boy / "From Under the Cork Tree" (2004)

10 . My Chemical Romance / "Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge" (2004)

Gotta Google a couple of those, but nice to see Jimmy Eat World get some love!  2004 was a big year, and they kicked off the list with The Used's "In Love and Death," which was an amazing of my faves, but an even greater effort from Bert and the boys was '07's "Lies For the Liars."  Fucking played the shiiiit out of that one.  Still do.  This, in particular:

Mmmmm, guyliner.

What's your fave?
