Baltimore Orioles To Wear Braille Uniforms On 'National Federation of the Blind Night'

September 6, 2018

As Yankee fans, we hate the Orioles. Anything Baltimore, really. But this is so damn cool I don't care about any of that.

The O's will become the first team to wear braille uniforms on September 18th, for 'National Federation of the Blind Night.'

They celebrate for every fan, like ninety-five year old Merle Caples, who has been an Orioles fan for 60 years. She used to watch the games, now she listens to games on the radio. Disease may have taken her eyesight, but not her love of the game.

The team is also having the president of the NFB, who is also blind, throw out the first pitch.

Well done, Orioles.
