Did... not see this one coming.

Call it what you want, an unholy alliance, an unlikely collaboration, but Post Malone teamed with ALT heroes, Twenty One Pilots at Leeds over the weekend to cover The Mighty O (as Liam calls it), aka Oasis.

Taking on catalog staple, "Don't Look Back In Anger", the two powerhouse acts traded vocals as Posty donned an acoustic guitar while Tyler banged out the icon piano chords alongside him. Technically an encore performance, TOP originally covered the track at their Reading performance, which the "Sunflower" singer likely caught wind of, as a touted fan of alternative music himself (it's worth noting, Sublime with Rome recently backed Post at a secret NYC performance).

Far from the only ones to reference the legendary Manchester band across the Reading/Leeds weekend, Dave Grohl himself took to the stage with Foo Fighters to plead for the brothers to get it together and reunite the band.  An official petition was then suggested, before the band's set soldiered on, perhaps realizing all this is futile in the eyes of Noel, who seemingly derives 90% of his pleasure from his own fans misery.

All of this of course proceeds Post Malone's new album, 'Hollywood's Bleeding', which drops next week, with all other details being held close to the chest.  Who knows, perhaps an ALT icon or two might pop up on the tracklist. For now, check out footage of the performance below.
