Surprise: Here's the Woodstock Line Up

Definitely the 2nd best Woodstock line up

March 20, 2019

Well, that didn't take long. After heavy speculation, the full 2019 Woodstock line up has arrived, celebrating the 50th anniversary of the original event and to say it's stacked is an understatement.

Alt artists topping the bill include Summer Open headliners The Lumineers, alongside The Black Keys, Cage The Elephant, The Killers, Imagine Dragons, The Head and The Heart, Portugal The Man, The Raconteurs, Young The Giant, Judah and the Lion, Greta Van Fleet, and Edward Sharpe.

The flier also boasts notables like Woodstock originals Santana, Dead & Company, David Crosby, and John Fogerty, in addition to massive household names like Miley Cyrus, Jay-Z, Halsey, Chance The Rapper, Robert Plant, Janelle Monae, Brandi Carlile, and more than 80 acts, with additional names to be announced.

Going down across 3 days on the weekend of August 16th at the Watkins Glen Speedway, original Woodstock co-founder Michael Lang has promised the event to be more or less the opposite of the 1999 incarnation which saw the fest devolve into chaos amidst sets by the likes of Limp Bizkit and Korn.

The line up was unveiled amidst a secret party this week at NYC's Electric Lady Studios, which saw performances from rapper Common, and the aforementioned Fogerty, in addition to a discussion panel with Lang.
