It's been a quiet couple years for Sleigh Bells, who's last LP, Kid Khruschev dropped in 2017.  Aside from a performance at former label, Mom+Pop's 10th anniversary party, the band have more or less laid low following the wrap of that cycle.  All that changes today with the release of a new cover tied to the Blake Lively and Jude Law starring new film, The Rhythm Section, which finds the duo tackling a much beloved standard, "Where Did You Sleep Last Night".  Alt fans of course are familiar with Nirvana's iconic Unplugged performance of the tune, itself a tribute to Leadbelly's interpretation of the track.  Now the pair take it in a more electronic direction, that's not without it's share of hazy 6 string distortion.  Check it out for yourself, below, and hope we get more music from these guys soon.
