Because 9 is not enough, Alt radio Emo heroes, Jimmy Eat World have announced their 10th full length, dubbed 'Surviving',  due out next month, October 18th.  Following past work with legendary Nevermind producer, Butch Vig the band have opted to self produce the effort this go around, with additional production from Justin Meldal-Johnsen, who's perhaps best known for his stints playing with Beck and Nine Inch Nails, alongside producing for the likes of Paramore and M83.

Speaking on the LP's themes, frontman Jim Adkins shares in a statement that the record attacks “some of the different kinds of weights my ego tells me I have to carry, what I see people around me choosing to carry, and what I have found to be the truth when I choose to let go.”

In conjunction with the record announce, the band have also shared our first taste of the album via a pair of tracks, "All The Way (Stay)", and "Love Never", which find Adkins signature vocals riding a wave of the bands heavy distortion in a melodic balancing act which lands squarely in the box of classic JEW.

Though it skips NYC this run, the band have also announced a string of US tour dates for November which include stops in Poughkeepsie and Jersey.  See the list of those full dates alongside the album's track list and the aforementioned tracks, below.
