As if you needed an excuse to book a weekend get-away to Sin City, the famed vacation destination now offers another reason to use those accrued vacation days via Intersect Music Festival, who's inaugural line up features the likes of Foo Fighers, Beck, Chvrches, Spoon, and Unknown Mortal Orchestra.

Going down across an extremely manageable 2 days (Dec 6-7) on the Las Vegas Festival Grounds, tickets for the fest go on-sale here, this Friday.

Beyond the music, the fest also promises "1 million square feet of custom-built sensory playground, featuring an immersive dome, megastructures, arcade, and innovative art throughout" adding, "this is more than a few sculptures you’ll walk by on your way to the next performance. Visionary artists from around the world will create digital art installations, interactive experiences, and unique pieces to explore."  Additionally promoters also boast of a forward thinking culinary line-up, including "a variety of local gourmet cuisine with vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options."

Rounded out by forward thinking dance acts like Jamie XX, Kaytranada, Flying Lotus, and Gesaffelstein, a press release promises much more to come via a Phase 2 announcement at a later date.

Check out the full line up for yourself, below and start assembling your crew for what's sure to be one of those "what happens in Vegas..." kinda weekends.
