Bob Moses Share Bananas Remix Line Up For New Album

Matthew Dear, Falty DL, Lindstrøm + Prins Thomas, and more...

October 15, 2018

Former Brooklynites and Ctrl + Alt + Delete alumni, Bob Moses, released their latest album, 'Battle Lines' last month and have since hit the road in support.  Over the weekend the duo comprised of Tom Howie and Jimmy Vance played a pair of sold out dates back on their old turf, bringing Brooklyn Steel to a throbbing maxed out capacity as their fully fleshed live band delivered powerful renditions of new tracks like "Heaven Only Knows" and "Back Down".

Ahead of that, the boys swung by the station to speak on a myriad of things including remixes, for which the group won a grammy last year thanks to the RAC re-work of 'Days Gone By' standout, "Tearing Me Up".  Turns out there's much more where that came from this round, with the guys already tapping a wealth of impressive talent to tackle their latest work including underground icons like Ghostly founder Matthew Dear and Planet Mu head Falty DL (who listeners may be more familiar with for his work on films like Mad Max: Fury Road).  The package also promises to deliver reinterpretations from shimmering disco kings Lindstrøm + Prins Thomas and Future Classic's own Hayden James, amongst others.

No doubt the guys get an A-grade for curation, and it may very well land them back at the Grammys once again.  Currently there's no word on when we'll hear these versions but thats fine because that gives you plenty of time to get cozy with the new record.  Check out the reveal above and look for more from our chat in the coming weeks.
