Fresh off the release of their Summer single, "Quarter Past Midnight", Bastille are back, this time with something slightly different.

The song in question, "Happier" which will see release this Friday, is a collab with EDM super producer Marshmello, who's already tackled team ups with everyone from Selena Gomez to Lil Peep (RIP) to Logic, and is now setting his sights on Alternative domination.  Originally teased back in March, when the producer tweeted he was playing "phone tag" with Bastille, the band themselves have shared their own message regarding the collaboration, saying "Last year we wrote a song called “Happier” which we thought would be great as a collaboration. We had a lot of fun getting to work on it with Marshmello who managed to find some joy in the melancholy…".

Ahead of the song's release, Marshmello has shared a pair of previews via Instagram, one of which finds the band's frontman Dan Smith crooning,  "Only for a minute, I want to change my mind, cuz this just don't feel right to me", while the other hints at what will no doubt be a triumphant EDM-tinged drop.

Expect to hear the song on Alt 92.3 as we head into the weekend - but if you just can't wait, check out the aforementioned previews, below.
